Another victory at the weekend was welcomed as we beat preston at deepdale. Another strong performance both in defence and up front, we look like a promising side.

Pardew is now up for manager month and good going. That dreadful October is long gone and after the last four wins he deserves too win it.

On o downside, news from the valley, we r one down too a beattie volley. It’s surely too soon for this run too come to an end. Come on u addicks.

Good luck too England tonite, hopefully a win will boost morale n a slip up by the russians tomoz will give us a lift.

Another win fans… and this time nt a last minute jobby… Instead the phrase of a ‘3 minute implosion’ could be used. Maybe if cardiff were less prone too losing their heads they may be scrappin with us at the top.

However… Nice too see Zheng Zhi score, he looks impressive and the goal will only boost his confidence. same for iwelumo, he is the goalscorer we have been looking for!

Nice too see pards thinks we can still improve. maybe we will catch Watford after all. Glad they dropped points. Come on colchester.

And im gutted Altrincham couldn’t hold on for a win against millwall yesterday. Oh well, maybe we get a chance too knock you out the cup.

And after the last 10 days excitement, we now have an international break. i just hope this one doesn’t interupt our winning streak.

What a week!

Hi, sorry i haven’t blogged for a while. let’s leave it at technical difficulties before i go crazy agen!!!

Anyway, what a week, after playing fantasticaly away from home (with 10 men!) and winning thanks too a last minute goal from goal machine Iwelumo we continue with yet another last minute winner from our last gasp hero Iwelumo against Bristol City! too be honest i never thought he’d be a regular scorer this season and am pleasantly surprised by his goalscoring shananigans!

After two away victories promotion seems too have appeared back on the horizon. Lets just hope that the blip is now well and truly behind us.

Let’s be vocal at the valley!

Understatement of the year by Pards and another ‘inept’ performance. Another defeat tht i don’t wanna dwell on. Defensively we were poor but did have some good attacking spells. Where’s the final pass! Come on lads… Prem is still 4 grabs, hopefully this is ur slump 4 the season.

Need i say more… first home defeat of the season… a card happy ref and toddy went off on a strecher. Not the best of nights for us Athletic fans…

Sorry its taken me this long too blog it and ignorin the half nnoyin millwall fan hu commented on the last one (too him i say at least we can hack it in the upper leagues) i move on.

dissapointed with tuesday’s result (although pleased with our attacking ability) but will comment no more n put it behind us quickly.

Lookin forward too QPR saturday lunchtime… Sky match! 3 points assured touchwood. N all those Leicester fans, dont be sad about megson leaving… u’ve got off lightly. Lets all laugh at Bolton instead. We can replace them next year… fingers crossed.

A 2-0 defeat though the scoreline doesn’t reflect the match. Shame old Jaybird couldn’t hit the net like that when he played for us…

We were arguably the better side through the opening period. Iwelumo hit the post, Zheng shoulh have scored, on another day would have hit the target.

lost Powell & Varney too injury, hopefully shouldn’t be too serious.

And Reidy played.

A point dropped, maybe three.

Any comments out there?

P.s Unlucky for the rugby lads. We tried hard but i believe we lost too a better side. And we have a much better side now then we did when they stuffed us 4 weeks ago!

So Wolves tomorrow, and maybe a team that have just lost its bark… ineternationals over and good too see Andy reid playin against the germans on wednesday. Just hope he’s fit enuf tomorrow.

So against a side where they are bringing back the ‘out of form’ mr eastwood?! I believe a victory may be in the offing.
